		<description>Incidental, yes. Though there's some discussion about it? I kind of liked the "hey, no pressure here" sort of way the whole thing was handled.

I think HQ does not have this book on the list. (And I really mean not.) It's mostly because I don't think any of us had even heard of it when the list was drawn up. And it's more than just partially about WWII, I guess -- you can see the effects of the war on later generations to an extent, as Jacob struggles with some of the things he learns.</description>

Sometimes I worry I'll accidentally take fiction for fact  and end up like this poor writer &lt;a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7373640.stm" rel="nofollow"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;: she uses a fictional diary as a reference for a biography, thinking it to be genuine. Whoops.</description>
