credit and thanks
I get pwned by code way more often than I like to admit! I tend to hack and slash my way through code, and more often than not I get it working the way I want it to, and then someone comes along and shows me that there’s an easier way to do it. Ah well.

Plugins I used with this site:
- OpenID Registration
- WP-OpenID+ (currently disabled; I’m waiting for the next stable release. I like it better than the first OpenID plugin.)
- Brian’s threaded comments (I’m still figuring out how to integrate it with OpenID adfhgf;asjkgk)
The WordPress plugin site has a lot of plugins to choose from.

The theme I’m using is based on Fluid Blue. I’ve modified the structure a bit, and I went all out using CSS to change it to look the way it does now. Check out the Theme Viewer for other themes. Also, taking apart existing themes is a good way to learn how things work! The template tags reference from the WordPress Codex is a great help.

The theme I’m using looks wonderful in Firefox 2.0. It’s not very wonderful in IE7 — things don’t align where they’re supposed to, and right now I’ve had enough CSS for a lifetime to spend another making sure it looks perfect in IE.
There is a CSS hack to this mess somewhere, I’m sure, and I’ll get to it eventually, but why don’t you get Firefox instead? It’s faster and more secure.

The tiny icons used in the journal are from the Silk icon set at FamFamFam. Current colour scheme is based on the Fresh Paint theme for the S2 style Flexible Squares at LiveJournal.
